Alerts Tab

An alert is an alphanumeric value assigned to the problems identified in the assets. The Alerts tab displays a list of alerts along with the description, first occurrence and last occurrence dates for the asset that you are viewing. These alerts help technicians to keep a check on the problems identified in the asset.

Note: The Alerts tab for an asset repair is enabled only if the alerts are logged for that asset in FASTER Web.

Tip

To view the Alerts tab, click the Alerts link.

To view alerts of the asset

1.    Search and view an asset record.

2.    Click the Alerts tab.

The Alerts page displays a list of alerts along with its description, first occurrence and last occurrence dates.

Navigation Tips:

  • You can expand or collapse panels by clicking on the arrow to the right of the title bars.
  • You can sort items by any category by clicking on that category's column heading.
  • You can move the panels by clicking and dragging the panel to the desired location.
  • You can move the columns in the data grid by dragging the column heading to the desired location.
  • To page through the list, use the arrows at the top or bottom of the panel. You can also specify here whether to display the entire list or ten items at a time.

Exporting the Search Results Grid

You can export the Search Results grid in the following formats:

·       Microsoft Excel (.xlsx)

·       Microsoft Word (.docx)

·       Comma-Separated Values (.csv)

To export the search results grid

1.    Click the Microsoft Excel ( ), Microsoft Word ( ), or Comma-Separate Value ( ) icon in the upper-right corner of the Search Results grid.

The File Download dialog box opens prompting you to Open, Save, or Cancel.

2.    Click Save.

The Save As dialog box is displayed with the File Type of the selected format.

3.    Browse to the desired location, specify a file name, and then click Save.

The Search Results grid is saved in the specified format at the specified location.
