Request Service
1. In the Customer Portal screen, type the asset number or the license plate number, and then click the Continue button.
The Asset Information page opens.
2. In the Available Actions section, click Request Service.
The Request Service page opens.
3. In the Enter your Information section, type the following information:
a. In the First Name box, type your first name.
b. In the Last Name box, type your last name.
c. In the Driver list, select the driver name.
Note: If you are creating a service request on behalf of a driver, then select the driver name from the Driver list. This enables FASTER staff to contact the driver in case of any issue in contacting you.
d. In the Email Address box, type the email address to receive notifications.
e. In the Telephone or Extension box, type the phone number along with the extension.
4. In the Choose a Service Location list, select the service location for the asset.
5. In the Service Urgency list, select urgency of the service based on the priority.
6. In the Your Upcoming Appointment(s) list, select an appointment.

7. In the Add Service > Services section, select one or more check box (es) of the pre-defined services.
Note: If you want to add services that are not pre-defined in the Add Service > Services section, in the Other Service section, do the following: · To add a service: a. In the Other Service Description box, type the other service description and then press Enter. The service is added in the Other Service section. b. Click the Add Service link to add an additional row and to add the other service. c. Follow the same procedure to add more services in the Other Service section. · To modify the other service: a. Double-click the other service description. b. Modify the description as required, and then press Enter. The other service description is updated. · To remove the other service: § In the Action column, click the Delete link next to the other service that you want to remove. The other service is deleted. The services added in the Services section and the Other Service section are displayed in the View My Asset > Pending Service Request section in FASTER Web. |
8. Click Submit Request to submit the service request.
