Calendar Settings

The Calendar Settings section lets you define the minimum number of hours required between creating an asset service/ repair appointment by the users (Customer Portal and FASTER Web), and the actual proposed servicing time of the asset.

Tip

To view the Edit Calendar Settings dialog box, click the Edit Calendar Settings link.

To edit the calendar settings

1.    Click the Setup module.

2.    In the Application Setup section, do one of the following:

§      Click next to the Maintenance  option, and then click Settings.

§      In the Maintenance section of Application Setup, click the Settings link.

The Maintenance Settings page opens.

3.    In the Calendar Settings section, click Edit Calendar Settings.

4.    In the Minimum Hours in Advance to Make Appointment box, type the minimum number of hours required between creating an appointment for asset servicing/ repairing and the proposed servicing/ repairing time of the asset.

For example, if the minimum hours defined is 72 and the Customer Portal user wants to get the servicing done on September 10, 2016 at 10:00 A.M., the Customer Portal user must create an appointment on or before September 7, 2016 at 10:00 A.M.

5.    Click one of the following:

§      Save to save the information and close the dialog box.

§      Cancel to disregard any changes and close the dialog box.
