TWS Repair Category

The TWS repair category is a broad classification of repair activities that comprises a set of repair items, repair components, repair actions, and repair reasons specific to each repair category. From the TWS Repair Category tab, you can assign technicians for each repair category. The technicians can view and add repair in the repair categories that are assigned to them from Technician Workstation (TWS) portal.

Tip

To view the TWS Repair Category tab, click the TWS Repair Category link.

Assigning Technicians to Repair Category

The Select Technician dialog box lets you assign technicians to a repair category.

Tip

To view the Select Technicians dialog box, click the Select Technicians link.

To assign technicians to the repair category

1.    Open the Repair Codes page.

2.    Click the TWS Repair Category tab, and then click the Edit link next to a repair category.

The Select Technician dialog box opens.

3.    Do one of the following, as required:

Note: All the technician names are selected by default.

§      To search a technician, type the technician's first name, last name or maintenance shop in the Technician First Name, Technician Last Name and Default Maintenance Shop boxes respectively.

§      To select or remove all the technicians, click Select/Deselect All as applicable.

§      To add a technician, select the check box next to the technician name.

§      To remove a technician, clear the check box next to the technician name.

4.    When finished click one of the following:

§      Save Changes to save the information and close the dialog box.

§      Cancel to disregard changes and close the dialog box.
