Signing In

To begin your shift, you must sign in on the Technician Workstation dashboard page.

Tip

To view the Technical Workstation page, click the Technician Workstation link.

To sign in on the Technician Workstation
  1. Select your name from the list in the Sign In screen.
  1. If and when prompted, enter your PIN.
  2. Click Begin Shift in the new window.

Tip: If you are having difficulty selecting a user on the Login screen, try clicking anywhere in the user's selection area except directly on an to select the entry.

Note: If you are already working on a specific repair and the work order cost associated with that repair exceeds the spending limit, a red warning icon is displayed against your name.

  • When you click your name, the TWSWeb Message box is displayed with a message that the spending limit is exceeded and needs to be authorized. You can click the Request Authorization to Exceed Limit button in the same box to send an email notification to the user who can approve the spending limit.
    You can click Cancel, if you do not want to send a message. In both cases, you will be logged out of the repair.

  • You can sign in to that repair after the exceeded spending limit for the work order is approved.

  • You can work on the repair of the work order that has not exceeded spending limit.

  1. If the technicians for your shop are not displayed, click the Display Technicians in another Shop button on the right of the screen.
