Add Percentage to Charge Type

Adding percentages allows you to bill each asset by multiple cost categories in custom combinations.

Steps to add a percentage to a charge type
  1. Click on the Manage Billing Accounts link in the Actions of the Accounting tab.
  2. Click on the Charge Type & Elements tab.
  3. Click the next to the appropriate organization.
  4. Click the next to the appropriate charge type.
  5. Click on the Add New Percent link.
  6. In the Add New Percent to Charge Type for Organization dialog box, enter the percentage and, if desired, a comment.
  7. When you are finished, click one of the following:

Edit Percentage of Charge Type

Steps to edit a percentage to a charge type
  1. Click on the Manage Billing Accounts link in the Actions of the Accounting tab.
  2. Click on the Charge Type & Elements tab.
  3. Click the next to the appropriate organization.
  4. Click the next to the appropriate charge type.
  5. Click Edit next to the percentage you wish to edit.
  6. Modify the relevant information in the Edit Percent of Charge Type for Organization dialog box.
