The Dashboard Settings page lets you manage the ranking, threshold value and time range of the 12 key performance indicators (KPIs) in FASTER Web.
From the Dashboard Settings page, you can perform the following:
· Add KPI
· Edit KPI
Tip
To view the Dashboard Settings page, click the Dashboard Settings link.
2. In the Application Setup section, do one of the following:
§ Click next to the Dashboard option, and then click Settings.
§ In the Dashboard section of Application Setup, click the Settings link.
The Dashboard Settings page opens.
The Add KPI dialog box lets you add new KPIs to display in the Dashboard module of FASTER Web.
Tip
To view the Add KPI dialog box, click the Add KPI link.
1. Open the Dashboard Settings page.
2. Click Add New Item.
The Add KPI dialog box opens.
Note: There are 12 KPIs in FASTER Web. When all the 12 KPIs are added in the dashboard, the Add New Item link is disabled.
3. In the KPI Name list, select a KPI.
Note: The Rank box displays the default rank assigned to the selected KPI. You can edit this ranking from the Edit Rank dialog box.
4. In the Threshold Value box, type the threshold value.
Note: Threshold value is the maximum information of a KPI that is displayed in the Dashboard module.
5. In the Time Range box, type the number of days for which you want the Dashboard module to display information.
Note: The time range is calculated from the current date to the number of previous days provided in the Time Range box.
6. When finished, click one of the following:
§ Save to save the information and close the dialog box.
§ Cancel to disregard any changes and close the dialog box.
The Edit KPI dialog box lets you edit the threshold value and the time range of the KPI.
Tip
To view the Edit KPI dialog box, click the Edit KPI link.
1. Open the Dashboard Settings page.
2. Click the Edit link next to a KPI you want to edit.
The Edit KPI dialog box opens.
Note: The KPI Name and the Rank fields are set to read-only.
3. Update the threshold value and time range as required.
4. When finished, click one of the following:
§ Save to save the information and close the dialog box.
§ Cancel to disregard any changes and close the dialog box.
§ Delete to remove the KPI from dashboard.
The Delete KPI dialog box lets you remove KPIs from the dashboard.
Tip
To view the Delete KPI dialog box, click the Delete KPI link.
1. Open the Dashboard Settings page.
2. Click the Edit link next to a KPI you want to remove.
The Edit KPI dialog box opens.
3. Click the Delete link.
The Delete KPI dialog box opens.
4. When finished, click one of the following:
§ Yes, Delete this KPI setting to remove the KPI from dashboard.
§ Cancel to disregard changes and close the dialog box.
Rank is the order in which KPIs are displayed on the FASTER Web dashboard. Ranks 1, 10, 11, and 12 are displayed vertically on the center of the page, ranks 2, 4, 6, and 8 are displayed on the left side, and ranks 3, 5, 7, and 9 are displayed on the right side of the page. The Edit Rank dialog box lets you update the ranking of KPIs in a way you want them to appear on the FASTER Web dashboard.
Tip
To view the Edit Rank dialog box, click the Edit Rank link.
1. Open the Dashboard Settings page.
2. Click the Edit Rank link.
The Edit Rank dialog box opens.
3. For each rank, select a KPI from the list.
4. Click one of the following:
§ Save to save the information and close the dialog box.
§ Cancel to disregard any changes and close the dialog box.
