The Customer Portal lets you provide your customers with access to view limited data and/or make requests related to their vehicles via a URL.
The prerequisites to access Customer Portal:
· Only Users with the PortalUser role permission.
Note: In the Setup module of the FASTER Web application, you can assign a user with the PortalUser role permission.
· Only assets of the organizations that are selected in the Customer Portal Settings page > Select Organization(s) list.
The following Customer Portal actions can be viewed and accessed based on the permissions/configurations assigned to PortalUser role from the Setup module of FASTER Web:

In FASTER Web, the Customer Portal Settings page is used to set what you see on your screen when you access Customer Portal.
In the FASTER Web > Setup module > Application Setup > Customer Portal Settings page, the setting Is a login required? is used to verify the user account to access the Customer Portal.
The value of Is a login required? can be set to Yes or No:
· Yes - User account must have assigned Domains, Organizations and Maintenance Shops with the PortalUser role permission to access the Customer Portal.
· No - By default, FASTER uses the PortalUser user account that must have assigned Domains, Organizations and Maintenance Shops with the PortalUser role permission.
In the initial Customer Portal screen, type the Asset Number or License Plate Number and click the Continue button.

Note: You can access the assets of the organizations that are assigned to you. If an asset number or license plate number exists in multiple organizations, then select the organization of the asset in the Select Organization list.

If you do not have permissions to view and access the asset information in Identification, Outstanding Service Request, and Open and Pending Repair sections, then the following screen opens.
