Valuation of Perpetual Inventory Report
Purpose
This report displays the item stock value for the end of the day on any specified date. Use this report to:
- Get the stock value at the end of a specified date.
Provides
- Stock levels, including number of line items, item quantity in stock and cost valuation information.
- Drill down ability to view specifics on all items within a storeroom: item number, item name, quantity, and averages of the unit cost, tax cost, shipping cost, other charges, total unit cost, and extended cost.
When to Run
As needed.
Running the Report
Steps to view a report
- Click the Reports tab.
The Standard window opens.

In the Inventory section, click Valuation of Perpetual Inventory.
- In the new window, select or enter the appropriate parameters.
Required parameters are indicated by an *.
- Click on the View Report button.
- Get specifics on each Storeroom by clicking on its name.
- Page through the document using the controls in the upper left.
- Search by a keyword using the Find/Next box at the top of the screen.
- To update the information on the page, click the Refresh button at the top right of the screen.

- Click the Export button.
- Select the appropriate format.
This will generate a File dialogue box specific to your computer.
