The Automated Fuel Import Settings section lets you manage the fields settings for scheduling the import of the fuel transaction files.
Note: · You can schedule fuel import for a fuel vendor, only if you have selected the Enable Fuel Import Scheduling in the Integrations Module check box while configuring settings for fuel import. · For CFI user, ensure the following:
· A scheduled import of fuel transaction files cannot be performed, if the credentials of an AD FS user are used in the configuration settings of the scheduled import. |
Tip
To view the Automated Fuel Import Settings, click the Automated Fuel Import Settings link.
The Edit Field Settings dialog box lets you modify the configuration settings of scheduling fuel import.
Tip
To view the Edit Field Setting dialog box, click the Edit Field Setting link.
Note on Process Path The appropriate user must be given Read/Write permissions on the folder identified in the Edit Field Setting dialog box. Depending on your configuration, one of two users must be given permission on each folder: · Folder path is on the FASTER Web Application Server: If the folder path provided for any given configuration value is physically on the FASTER Web Application server, you must give Network Service Read/Write permission on the folder. · Folder path is NOT on the FASTER Web Application Server: If the folder path provided for any given configuration value is NOT physically on the FASTER Web Application server, you must give the computer name of the FASTER Web Application server Read/Write permission on the folder. This may require including Computers as objects that can be granted permission on the folder. |
1. Click the Integrations > Fuel Import > Setup.
The Manual Entry and Fuel Import Settings page opens.
2. In the Automated Fuel Import Settings section, click Edit Field Settings.
The Edit Field Setting dialog box opens.
3. In the File Transfer Mode list, click one of the following:
§ Network Location Path
§ FTP
§ SFTP
· If the File Transfer Mode is set as Network Location Path, it is mandatory to provide the following information:
i. In the Vendor Name box, type the name of the vendor.
ii. In the File name prefix box, type a prefix for the filename.
iii. In the Vendor Fuel Site list, click the name of the vendor fuel site that you want.
Note: If the Vendor Fuel Site field is set to blank, then FASTER Web considers any fuel site that is associated with the vendor for the fuel transaction records in the import file.
iv. In the Email to box, type the email addresses of the users to whom you want to send the log.
v. In the Email From box, type the name of the sender of the email.
vi. In the Network Location Path box, type the shared network location path where fuel files are located.
vii. In the CFI FASTER Username box, type the user name to connect to the server.
viii. In the CFI Process Path box, type the path where all the fuel files will be moved after the scheduled fuel import is completed.
Note: During the schedule fuel import process, below folders are created at CFI Process Path. · ProcessingQueue: When the schedule fuel import process begins, the fuel file is moved from source location (Network path/FTP/ SFTP) to the ProcessingQueue folder. The file is moved to Processed or RejectedQueue folder once the import process is complete. · Processed: If the fuel file has at least one Success or Error record, it is moved to the Processed folder once the import process is complete. · RejectedQueue: If all fuel transactions of the import file are rejected during the import process, the fuel file is moved to the RejectedQueue folder once the import process is complete. |
· If the File Transfer Mode is set as SFTP or FTP other than the fields listed above for the Network Location Path mode, provide information for the following additional fields as well:
i. In the Server Hostname/ IP Address box, type the host name or the IP address of the SFTP or the FTP server.
ii. In the SFTP Server Username box, type the user name to connect to the SFTP or the FTP server.
iii. In the SFTP Server Password, type the password to connect to the SFTP or the FTP server.
Note: If the user name and password are validated in the first attempt, you can leave the password box blank while modifying the settings. However, if you change the user name, you must validate the password.
iv. In the SFTP Port box, type the port number to connect to the server.
v. In the SFTP directory location box, type the directory location or folder path of FTP or SFTP where the fuel files are located. If the location is a root folder, type ‘/’ only. If the location is a folder inside the root, type ‘/’ followed by the folder(s) name. For example: /Fuel Schedule/Import Files/.
4. Click one of the following:
§ Save to save the information and close the dialog box.
§ Cancel to disregard any changes and close the dialog box.
